Women’s Ministry is committed to growing women so that…
“they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Colossians 2:2-3
Our goal is to encourage women to love God, to have a passion for His Word, to become the woman of God He’s determined in His word for her to be, whether single or married, and live it out in such a way that it would cause others to want the relationship with God that she has. To afford women a sense of belonging, to help them grow spiritually through discipleship, to encourage them to serve the Lord in their gifts and talents, and to create opportunities for building, Christ-centered, healthy friendships through fellowship, as well as reaching out to our community to share Jesus’ faithfulness to us with others.

Our Goal for each woman who participates in our mentoring ministry:
To develop a strong relationship with Christ and have a strong understanding of His word and a consistent prayer life.
To build a firm foundation based on scriptural truth.
To know and understand who she is in Christ, so that she can walk in freedom and confidence knowing she is a redeemed child of God.
To experience the contentment that comes from trusting God in all things and learn to let go of stresses and anxieties.
For single women to have wisdom while they seek God-honoring relationships.

FRIDAY NIGHT WITH CANDACE PAYNE!
Join us as Candace leads us to discover the gift God has given us all to experience life to the fullest. All you need to do is answer “yes” when joy, whom Candace personifies as a friend, calls you to come and play.
Do you feel tempted to give up on your dreams? Joy stays the course.
Do your knees knock when thinking about the future? Joy hopes for what can be.
Do you feel unseen and unnoticed? Joy is content whether backstage or center stage.
Do you feel crushed under the weight of regret? Joy loves you enough to weep with you, but also enough to help you move on.
When life punches you in the gut, it can be difficult to muster a smile—much less a laugh. But with humor and power, wit and wisdom, Candace lights the way forward to a life that is free indeed.
About Candace:
The world knows Candace Payne as “Chewbacca Mom,” the wife and mother of two from Dallas who captured the hearts of nearly 200 million people around the world with nothing but a toy Chewbacca mask, a smart phone, and infectious laughter.
Candace’s viral moment of simple joy became Facebook Live’s top video. But what the video doesn’t show is Candace’s storied journey of daunting obstacles on the way to the joy-filled life—extreme poverty, past trauma, and struggles with self-worth.

The remarkable truth about angels, the agents of Heaven, unveiled through Scripture.
For centuries, people have been fascinated by stories of angel sightings, yet many contemporary beliefs about them are based on misconception and myth rather than solid, biblical truth.
Responding to our modern cultural interest in angels, popular Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah provides an in-depth, biblical look at these agents of Heaven and their role in our world and our lives. What are angels? What is their role in God’s plan? Are they present? Do they appear? Do they give us personal insight about our work and our worship?
In this broad and thorough survey of Scripture, Dr. Jeremiah clearly and simply separates fact from fiction as it relates to angels. His enlightening findings are supported with illustrations and insights from prominent teachers, such as Billy Graham, Corrie ten Boom, C. S. Lewis, and more.

- Precept Upon Precept Inductive Studies . . . Isaiah Part 1 – The Word of the Holy One to Israel, the Remnant, and the Nations . . . and the Promise of the Child to Be Born- Precept Workbook (NASB)Isaiah is the crown jewel of Old Testament prophets, a book that strikes awe in the heart of its reader, especially when its poetry is read in the Hebrew. Prophecies from Isaiah are mentioned in twenty-two places in the New Testament. The words of Isaiah were often found on the lips of the Christ, the Messiah prophesied in Isaiah. If Jesus, God incarnate, honored this grand and glorious book so highly, then you and I ought to do the same.In Isaiah Part 1, we’ll meet the Holy One of Israel, and learn how He deals with those who claim Him as God but don’t honor Him as God in the way that they live. And we’ll find the destiny of nations, the future of all mankind … including ours.

Practical Help for Those Angry Feelings that Ruin Relationships
We all struggle with angry feelings, brought on by tension, pressure, and the blocked goals and frustrations of day-to-day life. The broken and stressed relationships that result from these feelings can overwhelm us. But there is hope. With the right help, you too can overcome those emotions that destroy.
In this practical series, Chip Ingram will help you learn how to identify the unhealthy ways you respond to anger, uncover the feelings underneath your anger, as well as choose God-given, emotionally healthy ways to control your anger. You will learn through solid biblical principles, as well as the psychological aspects of our emotions, that anger can actually be a positive tool used by God to transform you and your relationships.

And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. – Colossians 2:13-14

The city of ancient Corinth was much like our own modern-day cities: a melting pot of electrifying cultural experiences to be had, along with the myriad pitfalls of spiritual depravity. Still, Paul wrote to the church of God in Corinth. Meaning God’s church is meant to thrive in any city and every circumstance in which we find ourselves. Paul’s letter is as timely as ever.
Over 8 sessions, Kelly Minter will lead you through the Letter of 2 Corinthians, exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. · Learn how your suffering can help you comfort others

Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. In other words, boundaries define who we are and who we are not. Boundaries impact all areas of our lives: Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us and under what circumstances — Mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts and opinions — Emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others — Spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God’s will from our own and give us renewed awe for our Creator — Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. When confronted with their lack of boundaries, they ask:
– Can I set limits and still be a loving person?
– What are legitimate boundaries?
– What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries?
– How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy, or money?
– Aren’t boundaries selfish?
– Why do I feel guilty or afraid when I consider setting boundaries?
Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves.

Joy is closer than you think because God is better than you may believe!
Using humor, wit, and wisdom, author Candace Payne (aka “Chewbacca Mom”) reveals biblical insights to unshakable joy and freedom in every circumstance. Dispel the myths that joy is frivolous, immature, or reserved for a few select “happy” people, and open your heart to receive the freedom and joy God created you to live in.
“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete” (John 15:11).
In this six-session video Bible study, learn what it is to live a life expressed by joy!
This study challenges groups to get honest and real in their discussion time and to explore the truth in what Scripture says about joy. It also includes a personal “Joy Lab” that makes homework a new daily practice in the art of encountering the abundance God intends for each of us when we know joy.
Sessions include:
- Laugh It Up, Live It Out
- Know Hope, Know Joy
- Joy Is a Fighter
- Joy Is Not Arrogant, But She Is Confident
- Joy Embraces Sorrow
- You’re Full of It
