Jesus said He didn’t come to be served, but to serve — and He invites us to do the same. When we serve, we get to remove some of the barriers that keep people from knowing Him. There are three ways you can serve alongside us: here at Shelter Cove, near us throughout Modesto, and far beyond, around the world.

One of the best ways to get connected at Shelter Cove — and help others feel connected too — is by finding your place to serve. Whether that’s welcoming guests at the door, teaching kids about Jesus, or serving on our worship team, there’s a role that fits the gifts God’s given you.

Every day, people throughout Modesto and Stanislaus County are carrying real needs — physical, emotional, social, and spiritual — and we want to be a church that meets those needs in practical, tangible ways.

Through the generosity of our Shelter Cove family, we get to join God in the work He’s already doing around the globe — through short-term mission trips that share the Gospel and meet real needs.
