David was known as a man after God’s own heart, but he was also majorly imperfect. He knew and loved God deeply but he was prone to sin just as we are. And yet, David never stopped pursuing God. In Psalm 139:23-24, David earnestly asks God to search him and know his heart. He wants God to help him see himself for who he is, that any sin would be revealed and he would learn to walk closer with God.
Today, ask God to help you see your own heart, that He would reveal anything within that keeps you from growing closer to Him and walking in His ways.
