In struggles, worries, uncertainty, or whatever rocks our world, we can make the mistake of looking for peace from within our range of capability. If we can control steps along the way or the ultimate outcome, we feel at peace. But when an obstacle comes along that we can’t pivot and adapt to, peace flies out the window.
But Scripture tells us that true peace comes through God alone.
As you pray today, start by asking God to help you give Him the reins, so that as you navigate life your focus is rightly on Him. Then, seek the peace that only He can give. Ask Him to pour out His perfect peace, drawing you closer to Him.
