As followers of Christ, God calls us to pray for our leaders–current and future–so today we are going to focus our prayer time on those who lead our national and local governments.
We pray God will raise up leaders who will follow His wisdom and guidance. We pray for revival in the hearts of our leaders, that they would make laws and govern our land with honesty and integrity. And as much as that can seem like an impossible feat, we know that God can and does do the impossible. So we pray–that even in times of turmoil and uncertainty, even when leadership fails in our earthly sight–that our eyes remain on God and His sovereignty.
