Today we lift up families because we know how important the family unit is in shaping a child’s future. A parent’s job is constant, but so are the influences outside of the home which constantly seek to tear families apart. So much of what we do at Shelter Cove is intentionally focused on raising the next generation to know Jesus, and we love seeing parents and their kids getting involved in their church community. We just love seeing families’ lives changed, professions of faith, baptisms, even kids serving throughout the church. While we treasure the time we spend with them during weekend services or at events or even in Midweek, we know that raising godly kids takes so much more. And, we know that the world works against parents in the fight for our kids’ hearts, so that’s why we’re spending extra-special time bringing the families we know before the Lord. What a blessing it is to encourage them in this way!
